“ The Promise Program helped me in more ways than I thought it would. I expected it to help me financially, which it did, but I didn’t expect to get too much out of the class. I’ve learned a lot of study skills and helpful hints to get me through college. ”

What do you enjoy most about being at MSU?
The people!

What is the most important advice that you would give students?
Slow down. It’s so easy to unintentionally get wrapped up in the everyday trials of being a student. Slow down. Look up. You’re in a very special and beautiful season of life and it won’t last forever. Really get to know the students around you because it’s the people- the relationships- that make MSU the best place in the world. You don’t want to miss that. Work hard and work well, but slow down and be a friend!

Why should students go to SI?
SI is a tool for anyone who wants to feel confident walking into the exam room. It’s designed to cultivate true learning in an environment founded on both peer interactions and individual engagement!
