Profile

What is your title/position at The Learning Center?
My position for The Learning Center is Supplemental Instruction leader for Biology 1.

What do you enjoy most about working with MSU students?
The biggest thing I enjoy most about SI is the idea that I get to make an impact on students whether it is the academic side or the life/college advice side. I love seeing them actually having fun while they learn and it brightens my day.

What is the most important advice you would give students?
The most important advice I give students is go to class, sit in the front, and read your text book. All of my SI students know this because I am constantly saying it.

Why should students take advantage of The Learning Center?
The Learning Center gives students the ability to improve their knowledge of the material not just cramming for a test, but actually getting to talk through the information and learning it.

What are your hobbies or what do you do during your spare time?
In my spare time I love to run, exercise, and watch Netflix. All of these are great stress relievers.

What is your major/hometown?
My major is Bio-Medical Engineering with a pre-med concentration. I am from Meridian, MS.
